two completely different kids
I know we've all heard it and/or said it; but it's amazing that two kids that came from the exact same parents, can be so completely different.
Aven has curls, brown eyes and tiny feet. Kinley has straight hair, blue eyes and normal feet.
Aven likes to be in charge and will fight to have it her way. Kinley is laid back and typically surrenders to keep the peace.
Aven is scared of her own shadow and it takes her a while to warm up to new surroundings or a change in schedule. Kinley is a dare-devil and jumps right in with the big kids.
Here are pictures of Aven and Kinley when they were 2 1/2 years old. They look nothing alike.
When Kinley is napping, Aven begs to wake her up. Aven loves having a pal to play with at all times. Although they fight quite often, they also have a great time together.
I complain alot about my kids. I am very verbal about how hard it is. I have often wondered why I purposely had them so close together. Was I crazy? But as time moves on, each day brings more and more fun times. This nice weather has encouraged us to play outside more. I love to watch them race around on their bikes. The other day we went for a walk around the neighborhood. It was the first time I was able to give them each a bike and I could walk without having to push a stroller or pull a wagon. It was so awesome. I don't mean to wish away these younger years, but each new day gives me a glimpse of the really fun times ahead. And every once in a while I pause and realize that these fun times are already here.
