Update - When will they?

Shortly after my hot dog post, my kids decided to throw me a bunch of firsts. I was really lazy one night and I convinced Aven to shower with me to save time. Well Kinley wanted to join in, so I let them shower together. They have not had a bath since. They love taking showers and it's great for us because it's quicker and uses less water. I tried to take a picture, but Travis thought my pictures were too revealing for his daughters.

Today, I made PB&J sandwiches and right before I was about to cut them up Aven said, "NO, don't cut mine up." I asked if she wanted the crust off and she said no...she wanted to try eating it whole. So I gave her the entire sandwich, completely intact; and she ate it! This was a big day for us.

Lastly, Kinley didn't want to put on a diaper after her shower. So I put panties on her. We've been playing with potty training, but I haven't had the energy to stop diapers yet. Anyhoo - a few minutes later, she said "I need go poo-poo." Travis was busy with Aven and said, "Okay, then go." Next thing we know, Kinley is screaming from the bathroom, "I went poo poo." I panicked thinking she had an accident, but she didn't. She got her stool, put her little ring on the toilet and pooped. What a big girl. I've heard of kids potty training themselves, but I never believed it. Tomorrow is a NO DIAPER day for us. We'll see how it goes.
